…and Their Finest is a smash! Have you seen it, yet?

Some highlights from all the reviews from opening weekend:

Joe Morgenstern exclaims in The Wall Street Journal: “‘Their Finest” is one of the smartest, funniest and most surprising movies I’ve seen in years.”

Manohla Dargis, in The New York Times, calls the film “An unalloyed charmer.”

“The supporting cast is a special effect in and of itself, as various stellar British actors parade by,” noted Susan Wloszczyna for RogerEbert.com.

Kenneth Turan, in The Los Angeles Times, says it is “a seamless blend of comedy and drama”!

“It’s next to impossible to simultaneously mock, celebrate and exemplify a film genre, but that’s the magical alchemy that “Their Finest” manages in its tale” – The Wrap.

“Good-looking, finely acted, and well-told, director Lone Scherfig (“An Education”) has made a charming, witty and romantic gem.” – AP.

Vanity Fair says: “you don’t need to especially enjoy England-in-wartime stories to like this film. If you’re simply in need of a little uplift and inspiration, and who isn’t, Their Finest hits just the right spot.”
